Com en un formiguer, els carrers del poble tenen la part alta ocupada per les cases, formant una mena de túnels subterranis on, de tant en tant, hi apareix un pati per ventilar, il·luminar i evacuar la calor. La baixada de graus al passejar pel seu interior és impressionant. Un sistema d’allò més sostenible i integrat a l’entorn (...de ben segur, molt més que el bloc de ciment).<br /><br />Les parets de les cases estan fetes de fang, palla i pedres, i els sostres de fusta i canyís, un conjunt sorprenentment resistent, en contra del que pugui semblar. Tot i això, s’ha de confessar que la tremolor dels terres al caminar-hi pel damunt fa una certa impressió. El fang és un aïllant perfecte de la calor, gràcies a la seva baixa inèrcia tèrmica. Les cases que varem visitar tenien fins a 4 pisos d’alçada.<br /><br />A la Kasba de <strong>Ait Ben Hadou</strong> s’hi ha filmat pel·lícules com <em>Lawrence d’Arabia</em>, <em>Jesús de Nazareth</em> o <em>Gladiator</em>. És patrimoni de la humanitat protegit per la Unesco i actualment hi viuen unes quantes famílies (que, per cert, et demanen pasta per deixar-te entrar). </span></div><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5107504087397591346" style="DISPLAY: block;
